Practice Nurse
Introduction
As a Practice Nurse, my role covers the many and varied aspects of nursing in primary care, alongside supporting patients living with long term conditions as part of the Multi-disciplinary team. I originally trained as an enrolled nurse in 1982, and undertook RGN conversion in 1993, I worked on the renal unit for most of this time at the RVI, in 1999 I moved into primary care sector. I first started working as a locum Nurse at Brunton Park in Sept 2020, and joined the team as a permanent staff member in April 2021
