What is a Patient Participation Group?

A Patient Participation Group, or PPG, is a volunteer group of patients who work collaboratively with GP staff to help plan and improve practice services by ensuring that the patient perspective is always represented

How do PPGs work?

PPGs contribute ideas, feedback and suggestions to the practice to improve the patient experience.

We are always looking for volunteers to help improve our services.

Patient feedback and ideas help us understand what works well, and where we can do better.

The Patient Participation Group helps patients and the practice work together to help us make positie changes.

The group can:

  • Help improve communication between patients and the practice
  • Share ideas and feedback about the care and support we provide
  • Support health campaigns and patient information
  • Help make posters, letters, leaflets, and messages easier to understand
  • Give feedback on things like appointments, recalls, and patient support services

If you are interested and would like to get involved, please complete the form below, or call in to the practice and ask reception for an application form.

We will normally contact participants by email so please provide an
email address if you have one.
