We have an opportunity for a new person to join the North Gosforth Primary Care Network team as a Career Start Practice Nurse.

The Career Start Nursing Programme is an individually structured 2-and-a-half-year developmental programme. It is aimed at First Level registered Nurses who want to develop the skills and experience to become Practice Nurses in Primary Care.
About the Role
The post will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills working alongside an experienced nurse mentor within a group of GP practices in North Gosforth, providing clinical services according to the health needs of the population and appropriate to their level of experience.

About You
You will be educated to degree level and an NMC registered Adult Nurse. You will be dynamic, ambitious and prepared to commit personal time to learning.
Essential skills and qualities include excellent interpersonal and communications skills, a flexible and adaptable approach and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Experience and knowledge of primary care, clinical audits, and completion of a health promotion module would be advantages.
